Her name is Tiffany. 一對年輕的中國夫妻,爸爸還學了好多年的小提琴,很有音樂天分.所以他深深相信他的女兒一定可以學音樂.
教了很多年的鋼琴, 發覺小孩子可不可以達到彈好音樂跟父母親深信孩子可以學音樂的執著有很大關係.
很多自閉症的小孩都是很聰明的,They cannot follow your instruction well. They have their own ways of thinking.
很巧合的姻緣下,我教了他們的女兒,也幸虧我天生愛研究的個性,我開始有了自己的心得.
In fact, Autistic child can learn music. They just learn music in different way from others.
They are very good at patterns, and most of them have very good memory.
第一堂課,我沒有收他們的錢, 因為搞了半天, 足足一個小時, 她什麼都沒學到, 我說東她說西, 完全的狀況外. 事後我才了解,
原來妳必須要她相信妳,他們才會願意打開心去試, 好吧！我就陪她畫圖,陪她唱歌,任由她的意.
第二堂客,我自做了教材, 收集她喜歡的兒歌,全部用數目字大大的寫下去, 休息的地方就又大大的星星表示,也在鍵盤上標示數目字.結果一試之下出奇的好.
真是神奇, She can do exactly right to match numbers with numbers I wrote in the keyboard.
即使她只是用一隻手指彈, 但我和她的父母就已經夠雀躍囉！
第三堂客,我把數目寫在她手指背上,而且希望她可以用不同的手指去match不同的numbers, 但奇怪的是...她硬要把手翻過來用指背彈,
忽然之間, 我恍然大悟, 她們的思考真的是與常人不同, 我就把數目字寫在指腹的指尖上,哈哈,這次她用指尖彈囉！
但是每次都要看一下指尖然後再看一下鍵盤上的數字,開始有像在學鋼琴的樣子囉！
第四堂客, 貪心的我, I put numbers both on the Middle C and Bass C, I hope she can play with both hands at the same time.
但數目字寫的方法要注意, 因為兩隻手是相反方向的, 她們會搞混一下. 但結果是~~~~~She can do it. Yes, she can play with both hands at the same time, but only by matching numbers.
For instance, Please let's play 3 of your RH with 3 of your LH together. Yes, you have to sit beside her and do the same motion again and again.
